On November 6-7, the representatives of the Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal took part in the 3rd International Forum “Pure Water” in Moscow. Forum was organized by non-profit partnership “Russian Water Association” supported by the Federation Council and the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Forum is a discussion area of federal level to consider the issues related to the integrated development strategy of the water industry in the Russian Federation. Within the framework of the Forum there was an exhibition, to which the biggest companies of water market of the country were invited to demonstrate the advanced technology, a range of modern facilities and services for the restoration and protection of water resources, municipal and industrial water supply, waste water treatment, water bottling and etc.
The representatives of the Federation Council, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Regional Development, departments and agencies of municipal complex of the Russian territory, senior officials of the Russian Federation, as well as authoritative representatives of the Russian, international scientific and professional community, the professionals of the water industry in Russia and abroad, leaders of public organizations took part in the International Forum “Pure Water” was attended by.
The Forum program included issues such as energy efficiency in the water industry and sustainable resource use, water management, prospects and realities of the Water Strategy of Russia, legislative support for water supply and sanitation sector, innovations in the technology of the water industry.
