FPLB organized an exhibition on the Environmental Forum in Peterhof

On 8 September, 2014 the St. Petersburg Youth Environmental Forum, which brought together more than 200 participants from different regions of Russia started in Petrodvorets (hotel “New Peterhof”). Young environmentalists were welcomed by Acting Governor of St. Petersburg, G.Poltavchenko, who began his visit tour at the forum with a photo exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the All-Russian Society for Nature Protection. Photo exhibition was prepared at the invitation of organizing committee of forum and Executive Board of the All-Russian Society for Nature Protection by the Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal (Curator – I. Krylova).

The exhibition project was dedicated to anniversary of the oldest environmental organizations in Russia, entitled “90 years of history of love to nature”. It  was initiated by the St. Petersburg branch of AUNP, and its first exposure version was presented at the International Forum “Baikal dialogue” (Ulan-Ude, August 21-24, 2014).

Updated and supplemented photo exhibition had been prepared specifically for the St. Petersburg Youth Environmental Forum (Peterhof, September 8-9, 2014), and in future it will be demonstrated at most important business and cultural events in Russia in the field of ecology.

The exhibition presented photo reportage on the activities of the AUNP in the Soviet period and in  modern Russia, types of protected natural objects of Leningrad region, as well as artwork of photographers from Lipetsk, Omsk, Buryatia, Voronezh, Saratov and other regional AUNP offices.
