The scientific program of the “Mir Subs on Baikal” expedition is completed. At the moment, the conservation of equipment and loading of auxiliary expedition equipment is being finalized. Specialists of the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology and employees of FPLB are escorting the vehicles to specially equipped boxes.

At three o'clock in the morning, the local time, the strategic military transport aircraft “Ruslan” will take the DEEPWATER “Mir-1” and “Mir-2" from Irkutsk to Kaliningrad. From that place, the "Mir Subs" will be transported to the place of wintering into a storage hangar.
