On 13 July a photo exhibition “Baikal. The Kingdom of ice and water” of the famous Russian photographer Olga Kamenkaya was inaugurated in Shanghai in Himalayan Art Museum. The exhibition is organized with the support of the Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal.

The author represented over 50 works which give the opportunity to the Chinese audience to learn more about underwater life of Lake Baikal, to get acquainted with its flora and fauna. The main objective of the exhibition - is to reveal the balance between the human art and art of nature, to appreciate and to preserve the surrounding environment.

The exhibition will take place from 13 July to 13 August 2013.
