The Third International Festival of Ethnic Music Voice of Nomads. Baikal-Buryatia-2011 was held from 19 July to 22 July, 2011.

The organizing committee of the festival which included Ms Ulanova and Minister of Culture of the Republic of Buryatia Mr Tsybikov issued a letter of gratitude for sponsor support to Mr Slipenchuk. The organizers and participants commented on the high technical and creative level of the festival and expressed hope that in the future this event would become a trademark of Buryatia.

Among festival participants were world stars such as Sainkho as well as singers from Mongolia, Buryatia, Yakutsk and Irkutsk. Prior to the festival, Mr Bair Tsyrenov, Vice-President of the FPLB promised the company’s further support and shared the plans of the company to build a large multifunctional center at the Baikal Bay. It will have a well-equipped concert hall for over one and a half thousand people which will be a perfect place for musicians to perform.
